About a month ago was my yearly Hockey Photography workshop with Roberts Camera education and as usual, it was a blast! We had a group of 16 and after the usual short class about strategy and autofocus, followed by an introduction to the rink and all the various spots available the group set out to do capture images like they were endangered species. And that’s what the group did, some going up top where the game moves a little slower, some pressing their faces to the glass and blasting away like there was no tomorrow. There was/is no right answer to shooting if it is your first time, only some direction and suggestions given at the beginning. Boy; was it glorious.
Before showing everybody’s photos, I’d like to thank Roberts Camera education for setting this up, I’d also like to thank John and Kelly WIkman with White Shark Photography for hosting us, along with everyone at the Indy Fuel who helped make this possible. None of this would happen without the work of everyone involved so thank you. And now? The photos!
